Depository Financial InstitutionS Examiner 1

Job Description: Performs a variety of assignments, participates in formal training programs and on-the-job training to develop skills in the application of examination techniques for depository financial institutions or trust companies.  Work includes assisting in the examination of records, policies and procedures for compliance with regulations. As knowledge and technical proficiency is acquired, employees are given increased responsibility for completing assigned portions of an examination of small or moderately sized departments within depository financial institutions.
 
Minimum Experience and Training: A bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, finance, economics or information technology including or supplemented by nine (9) credits in accounting; or an equivalent combination of experience and training which includes nine (9) college credits in accounting.
 
Starting Salary: $40,039

NON-DEPOSITORY FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS EXAMINER 1

Job Description: Performs a variety of assignments, participates in training programs and on-the-job training to develop skills in the application of examination and investigative techniques for non-depository financial institutions. As technical proficiency is acquired, employees are given increased responsibility for the independent examination or investigation of assignments with greater complexity for non-depository financial institutions.
 
Minimum Experience and Training: A bachelor's degree including or supplemented by nine (9) credits in accounting, finance, economics or a closely related field OR An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes nine (9) college credits in accounting, finance, economics or closely related field.  
 
Starting Salary: $40,039

Depository Financial InstitutionS Examiner 2

NON-DEPOSITORY FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS EXAMINER 2
Job Description: Conducts examinations of the records, policies and practices of financial institutions (Depository or Non-Depository), and affiliates regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities to determine financial soundness and compliance with state laws and regulations and sound management practices.
Minimum Experience and Training: Must meet the minimum requirements for the Financial Institutions Examiner 1 (Depository or Non-Depository).  See test announcement for additional requirements for Financial Institutions Examiner 2.
Starting Salary: $50,915

Senior Depository Financial InstitutionS Examiner

SENIOR NON-DEPOSITORY FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS EXAMINER
Job Description: Oversees audits of the records and practices of financial institutions (Depository or Non-Depository), and supervises a staff of professional examiners.
Minimum Experience and Training: Must meet the minimum requirements for the Financial Institutions Examiner 2 (Depository or Non-Depository).
