ALERT Scammers posing as DoBS - Learn more about text message scam
We've received several reports of scammers impersonating the PA Department of Banking and Securities.
Here's what you need to know to protect yourself:
- DoBS will NEVER ask for money to help someone.
- DoBS will NEVER contact you via text regarding financial matters.
- Our Customer Service Office will NEVER contact a consumer who hasn’t already reached out for help regarding personal finances.
