Stefanie Hamilton is Chief Counsel for the Department of Banking and Securities.  She started her Commonwealth career in 1998 as an attorney for the Pennsylvania Securities Commission. She then became associate counsel for the Department of Banking and Securities in 2012 after the merger of the Pennsylvania Securities Commission with the Department of Banking. In 2016, she became Deputy Chief Counsel for the Department. 

Stefanie is a 1994 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Industrial Management and  B.S. in Economics, and she is a 1997 graduate of The Dickinson School of Law.
