Aimee Wechsler serves as the department's Policy Director, overseeing the department's Policy Office and staff in the research, development, and implementation of a variety of policy, legislative, and regulatory priorities. Aimee also serves as the policy liaison to the Governor's Office of Policy & Planning.
Prior to being appointed Policy Director, Aimee served as Deputy Secretary of Policy and Planning for Governor Wolf. Aimee has also served as Northeastern Pennsylvania Regional Manager for United States Senator Bob Casey, Senior Campaign Finance Analyst for the Federal Election Commission, and a Product Sales Associate for the Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania.
Aimee graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelors in History, and is also a graduate of Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a masters of public affairs degree, focusing on policy analysis and nonprofit management.
