Julia Brinjac serves as the department's Policy Director, overseeing the department's Policy Office and staff in the research, development, and implementation of a variety of policy, legislative, and regulatory priorities. Julia also serves as the policy liaison to the Governor's Office of Policy & Planning.
Prior to being appointed Policy Director, Julia served as the Deputy Policy Director for the department. Julia has also served as Policy Director for the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, Public Policy Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Alzheimer's Association, and a legislative assistant to Senator Lisa Boscola.
Julia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with both a bachelors and a masters degree in Cultural Anthropology.
